The critical items are our lift mechanism, aluminum rails, and center stiffener. The hardware is manufactured to strict ISO 9001 (International Standard Organization) quality standards and carries an extensive guarantee.

The bed raises and lowers with one finger and will float on its own at 45 degrees to allow the fold-out legs to be tilted out effortlessly. Simply put, it's safe and easy to operate.

The unique spring mechanism is attached to the bed cabinet, and the cabinet attaches to the wall studs with three "L" brackets. Nothing mounts to the floor. No holes in your carpet and flooring. If you move, move your Ultimate Murphy Bed with you!

Made up with mattress, sheets and blankets, the closed bed unit extends only 16 inches from the wall. Any mattress up to 11 inches thick can be used. No special purchase is necessary.
